Emanuela-Chiara Gillard participated as a speaker in Series 1 (IHL and humanitarian principles) of the ICRC Advanced IHL Learning Series, aimed at lecturers who wish to update their knowledge of the latest developments and challenges in international humanitarian law (IHL) and other areas of the ICRC’s work.

Combining theory and practice, the series follows a methodology involving videos, reading materials and various teaching tools.
